This website has been designed to introduce myself and provide you with options and tools to help you live a healthier life. Look around, and familiarize yourself with who I am and what I do. If I can help you with the sleep or health problems that you face, please send me an email or call me.

Here is a bit about my background. I worked in a general hospital setting for almost ten years. I have had years of experience doing consultations and psychological assessments, and providing psychological treatment.

My specialty area is Sleep Disorders Medicine. I completed the American Academy of Sleep Medicine’s fellowship training in Behavioral Sleep Medicine in 2003, and have worked in a number of sleep clinics and other hospital settings helping patients solve their sleep problems.

I have taught medical students, psychology interns, as well as other health care providers about how to assess and treat a range of psychological difficulties (like anxiety, depression and relationship problems). I have written a number of book chapters on these topics; have presented at sleep and rehabilitation Conferences in Canada and abroad; and have maintained a practice in psychology in Toronto for over 25 years now.

In the past six years I have worked mostly with heart patients, chronic pain patients, diabetic patients, and patients learning to deal with cancer and stroke. I have helped hundreds of patients make important lifestyle changes to improve their health and well being. I have had good results in helping patients restore their sleep patterns to maintain better health.

I routinely assess and treat problems with anxiety, depression, stress and personal relationships. I have included some resources on this site that may be of interest to you. These can be used to evaluate and improve your stress levels. Check under the Resources tab.

If you think you could benefit from a consultation with me, please feel free to contact me and discuss your particular situation with me.
